Getting there: There are plenty of flights to Ternate island from Jakarta (usually via Manado and/or Makassar). From Ternate town, take a car ferry over to Tidore (daily between 7am and 5pm) and go to Gurabunga by ojek. It is a good idea to hire a car and driver in Ternate and take the ferry.
