Permits: You must speak with local village heads in either Kalora or Salena. Kalora is not recommended at the time of writing (2018) for several reasons. You will hopefully have better luck in Salena.
Water sources: Currently unknown for the Salena route. For the Kalora route, the last water is about 2 minutes to the left of the trail at 984m just 10 minutes beyond Pos 2 (948m).
